Step 1.2: Spiritual Practices and Resilience

In this session, I introduce the seven spiritual practices that form the foundation of resilient rhythms: stillness, tending, movement, beauty, word, nourishment, and connection. Each of these is a broad doorway into wellbeing, with many meaningful practices fitting under each one.

I walk through each practice briefly ~ how stillness helps calm the mind, how tending invites us to find the sacred in daily tasks, and how movement brings us back to the present moment through simple embodied awareness. I also share how beauty inspires hope, how reading and writing nurture the inner life, how mindful nourishment grounds us, and how connection strengthens us through meaningful relationships.

These seven practices, taken together, offer accessible and life-giving ways to cultivate resilience in everyday life.
