Introduction Session
An overview of the purpose of the course, the modules, and an exercise to begin us on our journey.
Module 1: Stillness
In this module we learn about the benefits and challenges of stillness, exploring it as a foundational as a spiritual practice.
Module 2: Tending
In this module, we look at the connection between spirituality and tending to our living environments, turning in particular to monastic traditions for our inspiration.
Module 3: Movement
In this module, we explore movement as a sacred practice that reconnects body and spirit, offering energy, presence, and spiritual renewal in daily life.
Module 4: Beauty
In this module, we explore beauty as a spiritual practice that awakens the senses, nurtures resilience, and reveals the presence of God in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
Module 5: Word
In this module, we explore the power of words ~ spoken, written, and read ~ as a spiritual practice that connects us with ourselves, with others, and with God, offering healing, insight, and creative expression along the way.
Module 6: Nourishment
In this module, we explore nourishment as a holistic spiritual practice ~ caring for body, mind, and spirit through food, gratitude, hospitality, and life-giving habits that sustain us and others.
Module 7: Connection
In this module, we explore connection as a vital spiritual practice ~ nurturing relationships with others, ourselves, and God to cultivate belonging, wellbeing, and deeper presence in the world.
Module 8: Habits for Your Spirit
In this module, we reflect on all we’ve explored and begin crafting a sustainable way of life ~ shaped by simple, joyful habits that nourish the spirit and ground us in daily spiritual practice.
